Freemasonry is the world’s oldest, largest, and most philanthropic fraternal organization. As Freemasons we live by an ethical and moral code that distinguishes us and creates an atmosphere where friendship and understanding can grow among men of every religion, race and culture. Lafayette Lodge No. 47 April 2017

By: W∴Robert Lyle, P.M.

W∴Steve Acello believes a busy lodge is a happy lodge and he is truly keeping us busy. We continue to gather each Monday night to rehearse our ritual, play cribbage, or just stand around the kitchen table and solve the problems of the world. Gathering together at least once a week strengthens our bonds of brotherly love.

We had our annual "Beer and Dynamite" fundraiser where we had a surprise guest, Brother Ron Wheeler and his Lady Jen, visit us. Brother Ron has been working in Milan, Italy for the past year and happened to be on vacation back in RI. Brother, it was great seeing you!

Our once a month breakfast on the third Saturday of each month continues to be a success. Each month the kitchen crew comes up with some new twist to our breakfast menus. Stop by between 7:00 and 10:00 AM and try the special of the month. For a cost of $8.00 per person you are guaranteed to have the best breakfast available in Arnold Mills, Cumberland.

On Saturday April 8th Lafayette Lodge will host its 3rd Annual Wine, Cheese and Scotch Tasting. Cost is $20.00 per person. The time is 6:30 to 8:30 PM. We will be sampling 8 wines and 4 scotches. Come and enjoy a casual relaxing evening at Lafayette Lodge. This night also marks Worshipful SteveÊAcello's half way mark as Master of Lafayette Lodge. What better way to celebrate.

Worshipful Steve Acello would like to extend an open invitation to any brother to come and visit us at our stated meetings which take place the 1st Wednesday of each month.
