Master Mason Degree under the canopy of heaven
Charity Lodge conferred the Master Mason Degree on July 9 in the Charity Outdoor Lodge.
W∴ Mike Southern arranged for excellent weather, slightly overcast and cool, and as a result we had 37 brothers representing 25% of Lodges in Rhode Island in attendance. W∴ Carl Richards acting as Tiler informed the Master that there were many gypsy moth intruders to the Lodge. The Master declared that all moths were Master Moths and that the Degree could proceed. The officers presented the 1st and 2nd sections of the degree in fine form on one Fellowcraft Brother then recessed for a little dinner followed by the 3rd section of history and lectures in the main Lodge room. A truly excellent presentation of the Canadian Charge was given by R∴W∴ Tom Yeaw to close the degree. All in attendance remarked on what a fine degree was presented by the brothers of Charity Lodge and what an excellent day was had by all.
