Freemasonry is the world’s oldest and largest fraternal organization. As Freemasons we live by an ethical and moral code that distinguishes us and creates an atmosphere where friendship and understanding can grow among men of every religion, race and culture. This is the public website of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Rhode Island. If you're interested in our lodges and considering an application to join, please visit this page and submit a petition request.

Read our page What Is Freemasonry for additional insight. If you're on Facebook, why not visit and like our page at https://www.facebook.com/RImasons/

Grand View Access

Grand View is our membership site.

Lodge Secretaries use it to maintain membership records but as a member of our Jurisdiction you can sign on and update your own details such as name and address. Registering will also allow access to other membership and lodge resources, for information and training.

To register, you will need your Mother Lodge number, member ID (on your dues card), and last name. You will then be asked for your email address and to create a password. Keep this safe as the Grand Lodge does not have access to this.

Once you've registered, you can sign in at any time using this link https://ri.gvsoftware.com/users/sign_in.

Bookmark the sign in link so you can go there directly. You do not have to visit this website in order to sign in to Grand View.

If you are not a Freemason, but are interested in learning more about our fraternity, you will find many of your questions answered in these pages.

If you would like more information, I encourage you to contact our Grand Lodge office, 222 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914, 401-435-4650.

A message from our Grand Master

gm glenn tails

I would like to welcome you to our website and, whether you are a Freemason or just stopping by to see what Freemasonry is all about, I hope that you will find this site to be both interesting and informative regarding our Fraternity.

The Masonic Grand Lodge of Rhode Island is in the smallest state, but has the largest name.  The complete name or our Grand Lodge is "The Grand Lodge of the Most Ancient and Honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons for the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations."  Through this site we will attempt to keep our Rhode Island Masons and non-Masonic visitors up to date with the many Grand Lodge events within our jurisdiction. So please come back often.

If you are a traveling Mason visiting our neck of the woods and would like to attend one of our meetings, you can view our calendar here. If your Grand Lodge is recognized by the Grand Lodge of Rhode Island and can produce proper vouchers on being made a Freemason, we look forward to having you join us in our lodge meetings.

Most of our social and fundraising events include Masons as well as their partners and friends. Most of what we raise is donated to local non-Masonic charities. We our proud to play an active part in our communities.

If you are not currently a Freemason, but looking to learn more about our Fraternity, we hope you will find the answers to your questions within these pages. If you have questions that are unanswered or would like more information on becoming a Freemason, contact our Grand Lodge office, 222 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914, 401-435-4650, or visit the “What Is Freemasonry” page.
